The happening was horrible! Also what is this? people who don’t like his film are bandwagonists? Really is he so great in your eyes he has never made a bad movie. let me sum up Lady in the Water “critics didn’t get the message.. i’m a visionary *sob* A VISIONARY”. I love most of Shymalan’s movies so im not a hater im just stating that no one is perfect everyone makes a bad film.

@CrimsonStarProducion Once you get the message of the movie.. you’ll see how great it isbased from observation..Writers and readers loved the film because of the message and the awesome twists..but movie goers and thrill seekers hated it because they only want the horror.. pfffft.. imbeciles…

Im a writer and a director and I didn’t like it and I got the message and I still dont like it. Its not a horrible movie but I still don’t see it as great. A average film at best.

Be careful DM19, the guy at “CrimsonStarProducion” is a “writer and director”…RIGHT! Yeah,… he’s a writer all right & he doesn’t even know how to spell “production”!

I never said he never made a bad movie. In fact, I just saw The Happening, and yes it was bad. But that is no excuse to say “I have M Night Shymalan movieS. Plural. As in all of them. Just because they dislike one or two, they automatically assume he sucks as a director. And I came on here speaking to a third party, not to anyone directly, so please don’t try to contradict me with a tone when I had no intention whatsoever of being negative.

James Newton Howard always does a good job (the village’s music is his best).. The Happening had bad acting due do bad writing (John Leguicantspellhisname wasnt so bad)… and the story was plain stupid and predictable, a senceless murder fest…
